Payment Methods

Payment options at RENAX: (1) Cash — EUR, USD, or TRY accepted. Many guests prefer paying in EUR as their home currency. We use the daily exchange rate for conversions — fair and transparent. (2) Credit/debit card — Visa and Mastercard accepted. We process the payment normally — no deposit block, no 'pre-authorisation' hold. (3) Bank transfer — for advance payments, we can provide IBAN details. Most guests pay at pick-up (cash or card) — simple and straightforward.

Currency considerations: Turkey's currency is the Turkish Lira (TRY), but tourist businesses (including RENAX) commonly accept EUR and USD. Our prices are quoted in EUR (€) — this is standard for car rental in Turkish tourist regions. If paying in TRY, we use the daily exchange rate. If paying in USD, same — daily rate applied. Pro tip: EUR is the most convenient currency for car rental in Kemer. You'll get the best effective rate, and there's no double conversion (your currency → TRY → EUR).

How other companies handle payments: airport chains typically require a credit card in the driver's name — debit cards often not accepted. They block a large deposit (€800–1,500) on the card. Cash rentals are often not possible or require even larger deposits. RENAX is more flexible because we're a small, local business that values convenience over bureaucracy. We understand that not everyone travels with a high-limit credit card. Cash, card, EUR, TRY — whatever works for you works for us.
