Cash Rental

How cash rental works at RENAX: (1) Book via WhatsApp as normal. (2) At pick-up, provide your driving licence and passport for identity verification. (3) Pay the full rental amount in cash — EUR, USD, or TRY. (4) We still need a form of identity verification — if you have no card at all, we may ask for a refundable cash deposit (€100–200, returned in full at drop-off if the car is undamaged). (5) Drive away. At return: quick inspection, return any cash deposit, you're done. Simple, transparent, no financial system required.

Why most companies won't accept cash: credit cards provide rental companies with two things — a deposit mechanism (block funds for potential damage) and a financial trail (identity verification and debt recovery). Without a card, the company bears more risk. To offset this, companies that do accept cash typically require: a much larger cash deposit (€500–2,000), proof of accommodation, a utility bill, or simply refuse. What you need for cash rental at RENAX: valid driving licence (2+ years held, minimum age 23), passport, cash for the rental amount + any cash deposit we agree on (refundable), and ideally some form of secondary ID or proof of accommodation. WhatsApp us before booking to discuss cash rental — we'll confirm exactly what you need. Most guests who pay cash also have a card (for registration only, no deposit) — this is the simplest option.
