Cancellation Policy

RENAX cancellation policy in full: you can cancel your booking at any time before the pick-up time, for any reason, with no charge. If you've pre-paid (rare — most guests pay at pick-up), you'll receive a full refund. If you haven't paid yet, you simply don't. No questions asked. No 'cancellation fee'. No 'admin charge'. We'd rather you cancel than show up unhappy or stressed. Plans change — flights get delayed, kids get sick, weather turns. We're human. We get it.

How other companies handle cancellations: 'Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pick-up' — sounds fair until your flight is cancelled 24 hours before and you lose your prepayment. 'Cancellation fee: 50% of rental cost' — common with airport chains. 'No refund for no-show' — if your flight is delayed and you miss pick-up, you lose everything. 'Admin fee for all cancellations: €25–50' — even if you cancel weeks in advance. These policies are designed to extract money from changed plans. Ours is designed to be fair.

No-deposit means easy cancellation: because RENAX doesn't take a deposit or block funds on your card, cancellation is administratively simple — there's nothing to refund, no hold to release. This is one of the underrated benefits of our no-deposit policy. You're never financially committed until you actually pick up the car. We'd appreciate a WhatsApp message if you need to cancel — just so we can release the vehicle for other guests. But if you forget, no penalty. Life happens.
