Driving from Antalya Airport to Kemer

The D400 highway connects Antalya Airport directly to Kemer — you literally cannot get lost. Exit the airport and follow signs for 'Kemer' or 'D400 South'. The road hugs the Mediterranean coastline for much of the route, with the Taurus Mountains rising to your left and the sea glittering to your right. It's a genuinely beautiful drive that sets the tone for your holiday.

Step-by-step: (1) Exit AYT and follow signs toward Antalya city centre/Kemer. (2) Merge onto the D400 southbound — this is a dual carriageway (2 lanes each direction) with a 110 km/h speed limit. (3) Stay on the D400 for approximately 38 km — you'll pass through Antalya's outskirts, then the landscape opens into pine forests and coastal views. (4) Take the 'Kemer Merkez' exit — clearly signposted. (5) Follow the road into Kemer town centre. That's it. No tolls, no complex interchanges.

Road conditions: the D400 is well-maintained asphalt throughout. In summer, watch for slower tourist traffic and occasional roadworks. At night, the road is well-lit near Antalya but darker through the forested section — high beams are fine. Speed cameras operate on some sections — stick to the limit.
